Sometimes i cry so hard from pleading;
A big thankyou to fellow seniors who had planned and initiated this 2 days 1 night boot camp for shsc candidates. I am sincerely v v v greatly for all that y'all had done for everyone of us.
This is going to one of the best and memorable camps that i am going to experience in my whole life. Though it's not a big scale camp that lasted for many days , the lessons that i brought back home from it are so much more than any other camps that i had been to.
There's one point that i got to mention it here and it's my greatest lesson learnt so far. When you're a leader , it doesn't mean that all you do is take the lead. Because this doesn't bring you and your organisation to be greater height. A leader has to , needs to and must (!) be a listener and follower. A good leader must be open to ideas and suggestions 'cause leading an organisation is not all about being the strongest or the first. It's not about individual-oriented. He must be a people's people whom always take into account others' points of views and work together with everyone else as a group. He doesn't has to be on a status higher than the rest of the members to gain respect for himself. He has to give respect to every others too. Only then , he will be a good person and a good leader.
And also , i was taught that we should not be afraid to speak up. So what if your point of view is totally different from others? So what if you clearly understands that others are going to be unhappy when they hear your perspectives? The issue still must be solved. There's still bound to be someone to examine the faults in the issue to further improve on the situation. Don't be afraid to find faults , don't be afraid to say out your views ,'cause they are the most sincere comments. You , take the lead.
There's so much so much more for me to list down one-by-one here. And there's so much so much so much more for me to learn. To learn from my mistakes and my fellow peers. Im totally amazed by how my fellow peers work things out and how seniors overcomed obstacles and problems that they had faced before. I still got to learn. I still have a long way to be a good leader.
To round off , i sincerely want to thank all those peers who voted for me , regardless in the 1st or 2nd round of voting. Thank you for putting your trust and faith in me. I will try my v utmost best to fulfill my duties to bring out the best in everyone and myself.
